Menstrual Hygiene is a Right
There is a lack of awareness about menstrual health and hygiene in India, especially in rural areas. The majority of women struggle to get a clean piece of cloth to manage their period every month. In order to address this issue, we distribute sanitary pads kits along with encouraging them to maintain hygiene. We are primarily concerned with educating women about menstruation, discussing menstrual hygiene, promoting period-positivity, spreading awareness about taboos related to menstruation, promoting body-positivity and normalizing talking about it, in addition to promoting sustainable menstrual hygiene and encouraging the use of eco-friendly products in order to reduce the risk of infection.
