Kokan Kala Va Shikshan Vikas Sanstha (Kokan NGO India) was honoured by the Charity Commissioner's Office for its outstanding contribution to social service during a felicitation ceremony recognizing leading NGOs from Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Sangli, and Kolhapur.

Speaking at the event, Joint Charity Commissioner Ms. Nivedita Pawar encouraged voluntary organizations to draw inspiration from the late Padma Vibhushan Ratan Tata's spirit of selfless service and continue working with dedication towards society.

Expressing his gratitude, President Shri Dayanand Kubal said that this recognition strengthens the organization's commitment to creating greater social impact and inspires it to continue serving communities with even greater dedication.

Our organization has been honored with the prestigious National WASH Leadership Award 2026 for impactful work in clean water, sanitation, and community health initiatives.

The award was received by Yogita Nijamkar and Sakshi Pote, recognizing the organization's impactful efforts in promoting safe drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene in rural and tribal communities.

Through its initiatives, the organization has distributed 200+ water filters to schools and constructed sanitation facilities in 14 schools, helping create healthier and safer learning environments for students.

With ongoing programs such as health camps, awareness drives, and environmental initiatives, Kokan NGO India continues its mission to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and communities.

In Dongarpal High School, a friendly meeting and award distribution was held.

Dingane Panchkroshi Shikshan Vikas Mandal organized a charity meeting and annual prize distribution program at Shree Mauli Vidyamandir Dongarpal on 1st January. Like every year, this year the students who performed well in the school year 2014-2015 were awarded with prizes.
