Nikhil, a 5 months old, is our little warrior fighting for his life against a large-sized ventricular septal defect (VSD) at such a young age. Poor infant Nikhil has to face such major challenges at an early age due to chronic heart disease, and he has been advised to have his VSD surgery at earliest. Every scream of Nikhil is piercing through the hearts of his parents like hundreds of needles. Nikhil’s father works as a driver on a rented vehicle with a mere amount of Rs. 1,750 per month and shoulders the weight of their family as he is the only breadwinner of the family.

Surgery is the only hope for Nikhil’s survival, but hope comes with a heavy price, which has completely blown off the minds of the family. The approximate estimated cost of Nikhil’s surgery is Rs. 2,25,000.

Update:- Infant Nikhil will be admitted today (25th April 2024) to Vivekanand Hospital. His operation is scheduled soon (tentatively by 27th April 2024).
