Access to health care: a distant dream for Rural India

Rural health care is one of India's biggest challenges. Approximately 70 percent of the country's population lives in rural areas, and there are few health facilities, contributing to high mortality rates. While most of us can find a doctor or a hospital nearby, many remote rural and tribal communities struggle to find healthcare in their towns and villages.
