Globally, malnutrition is the single gravest threat and the leading cause of child mortality. Street children are the most neglected and vulnerable in most of the urban cities in India, and are at risk of undernutrition, and substance abuse that exposes them to different health problems. Children are generally believed to be the future of any nation and their proper development is of significance to a healthy nation.
